This year is undoubtedly the year of AI. Every industry around the world is leaning into AI, and as AI gets stronger, the world is becoming increasingly virtual. This reminds me of the 'metaverse' concept from a few years ago—AI is definitely the key factor in making that concept a reality. While AI is booming, don’t forget to focus on projects tied to real-world activities. This year’s offline event in Hong Kong hosted by @RaveDAO and @consensus_hk was pretty awesome. Too bad I couldn’t join, but next time for sure. Checked the charts, and in this tough market, it’s actually showing an upward trend. First, it got listed on Coinbase and Gopax, two platforms with strict compliance reviews. Second, the team has money and isn’t under pressure to let the leadership cash out first. Tickets for offline events are selling really well, and they’re using offline revenue to subsidize online operations. This is directly reflected in the charts—the more it rises, the more people join offline events. It’s like installing an upward spiral perpetual motion machine for the charts. Today, I saw both the head of X (Twitter) traffic and Discord tightening their stance on crypto projects, which is a bit concerning. At the end of the day, this space is still too focused on the virtual, with no real-world applications. The lack of substance has led to too many scammers in the space, where bad money drives out good. But I’ve always believed in the path of mutual reinforcement between online and offline. RaveDAO is a project driven by offline communities combined with online initiatives. I hope they keep going strong and set an example for other teams that want to follow this path in the future~
