Many people are criticizing HodlAI, so let me clarify: WEB4AI is not a competing or diversionary project to HODLAI. It’s an application-level subproject within the HodlAI ecosystem.
HodlAI is protocol-level infrastructure, the foundational base, and the core asset of the entire computing power and model invocation system. It represents protocol sovereignty, underlying model capabilities, and the long-term computing power treasury.
On the other hand, Web4AI is just a vertical scenario experiment project built on the HodlAI protocol. It’s an application layer aimed at the autonomous economy of Web4 intelligent agents, not a pure MeMe project. HodlAI is the foundation, and Web4AI is a building constructed on that foundation.
The value logic of HODLAI comes from the long-term demand at the protocol layer. Human developers invoking large models, accessing APIs, and building applications—all of this is based on HodlAI’s computing power system. Meanwhile, WEB4AI is an economic tool within the Web4 intelligent agent (AI agent) scenario, supporting specific experimental ecosystems like AI automation and M2M (machine-to-machine) interactions. It serves a specific subsystem but does not represent the entire protocol. Ultimately, the actions of all sub-ecosystems are still linked to the HodlAI main protocol, and all ecosystem project taxes flow into the HodlAI treasury. So please don’t misunderstand this as a diversion—every tax dollar will be used to buy back tokens and pay API fees.
The ecosystem can keep expanding, and there can be multiple subprojects, but there will always only be one HodlAI.
HodlAI is the root, and Web4AI is the branch. If the root isn’t strong, the branch won’t thrive either. Thank you.
