[Uniswap Founder Criticizes Crypto Scam Ads, Victims Left 'Bankrupt'] According to a report by Jinse Finance, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams has warned users to be cautious of fraudulent ads impersonating the platform and mentioned a case where a victim reportedly lost all their assets. Earlier this year, January became the month with the highest amount of stolen funds from crypto scams in nearly 11 months. Adams posted on X on Friday, stating: 'Despite years of reporting, scam ads continue to appear repeatedly.' He also said: 'During the months we were waiting for App Store approval, a scam app impersonating Uniswap had already emerged.' Scammers are increasingly purchasing ads related to keywords like 'Uniswap' on mainstream search engines. When crypto users search for related content, the top results appear to be official links. Unsuspecting users may then connect their wallets and approve transactions, allowing scammers to drain all their funds.
