[Hong Kong Gold Exchange to Develop Digital Commodity Blockchain] At the Year of the Fire Horse Lunar New Year Opening Ceremony, Hong Kong Gold Exchange Chairman Zhang Dexi announced that the exchange has partnered with a subsidiary of Alibaba Group to develop a digital commodity blockchain, an international precious metals trading platform, and a clearing and settlement system. These will cover areas such as spot trading, futures, digital gold, BtoC transactions, a clearing center, and over-the-counter (OTC) trading. The development is expected to be completed within six months, with plans to integrate into the 'Hong Kong Gold Central Clearing System'.
