Talking about nominal annualized vs. actual annualized, deflation vs. inflation
Awesome, the $1 promo continues, with an annualized return of 12%.
Reminds me of domestic fixed deposits with an annualized rate of 1.2% . Looks low, but in a deflationary context, it’s actually super valuable. For example, when inflation was 5% and deposit annualized was 4%, the actual annualized return was -1%. But in deflation, it’s a whole different story—1.2% could actually be the highest actual annualized return.
Same goes for crypto. Right now, it’s deflation. In a bull market, even 12% wouldn’t catch anyone’s attention.
In this market, everything’s a loss. If $1 can give you 12%, that’s equivalent to a 30% stablecoin annualized return in a bull market.
Think about it yourself. Just go for it.
