Bloomberg: Despite recent outflows, US spot Bitcoin ETFs still record a net inflow of $53 billion
According to Golden Finance, although the US spot Bitcoin ETF has recently experienced large fund redemptions, the overall data presents a different picture.
According to Eric Balchunas' data, the cumulative net inflow of Bitcoin ETFs peaked at $63 billion in October last year and is currently around $53 billion, even after months of redemptions. Balchunas wrote on the X platform, "Over two years, the net inflow remains at+53 billion US dollars." The data he shared was compiled and organized by analyst James Seyfart. This figure far exceeds Bloomberg's early forecast, which estimated a net inflow of $5 billion to $15 billion within two years.
In other words, the recent withdrawal of funds has not erased the overall success story. Although Bitcoin has fallen by about 50% from its high point, institutional funds have not flowed out significantly in sync, indicating that many investors choose to hold for the long term rather than panic sell.
