World (formerly Worldcoin) announced the open-sourcing of its GKR + Hyrax proof system, Remainder, developed by Tools for Humanity. This system allows users to run machine learning (ML) models locally on their mobile devices for privacy data and generate zero-knowledge proofs of correct execution. With Remainder, World users can upgrade their IrisCode directly on their devices without needing to revisit the Orb.
