Actually, the guy from a few days ago is from the listing team, not some BD. What he said was all correct. In the early days, the listing team was just a few people voting, and they could basically decide who gets listed. The result was that certain groups almost controlled which tokens got listed. The few people in charge of listings would take turns listing tokens related to themselves. Today it’s token A, tomorrow it’s token B, and so on. Certain token-issuing groups had over a dozen projects listed, pouring in like crazy.
