For too long, we have had multiple IDs and duplicate systems that slow people down. I want every Jamaican to have one secure, nationally accepted identification that works everywhere and even online. That is what we are building through the National Identification System. When it is easier to prove who you are, it becomes easier to do business and access government services. Faster service means a stronger economy. We have put strong protections in place to safeguard your data and your privacy. Now we are moving to implementation. We are strengthening our digital infrastructure and expanding online services through agencies like Tax Administration Jamaica.(Andrew Holness)
