President Trump signed into law legislation repealing a Washington, DC law that decoupled parts of last year’s GOP tax and spending cuts law (OBBBA) from the city’s code including no tax on tips and overtime pay. House passed the joint disapproval resolution Feb. 4th along party lines 215-210 and the Senate also on a party line vote, 49-47 on Feb. 12.(Craig Caplan)
