According to Wu Blockchain, Tether announced that Tether Gold (XAU₮) is being used for dividends by a publicly listed company. Canadian-listed gold royalty company Elemental Royalty Corporation will allow shareholders to choose to receive dividends in the form of XAU₮, becoming the first publicly listed gold company to offer tokenized gold dividend options.
