Discussions were held with the National Identification System (NIDS) team to review what was achieved in the 2025/2026 financial year, identify challenges, and set priorities for 2026/2027. The focus is on keeping the system secure, making it easier for Jamaicans to access, protecting personal information, and ensuring NIDS can help improve how government services are delivered. NIDS plays an important role in Jamaica’s digital future and is being built to make it easier and faster for citizens to access public services across our country.(Andrew Holness)
