Are gold bulls secure? Just discovered an extreme bet in the options market, wagering that gold will skyrocket to a record high of $15,000 this year. Comex data shows that call spread contracts expiring in December with strike prices of $15,000-$20,000 have accumulated to around 11,000 contracts. Keep in mind, gold prices are currently only around $5,000, which means someone is betting on nearly doubling the price by the end of the year.
