"The Space incident is essentially the same as the big investment scam and rug pull back in 2018. We're not talking about small-scale investors here, but those top-tier big investors. These big-time scammers who take money and run usually fall into three categories: 1. They connected with a shady project team (this happens, but it's rare). 2. They accidentally invested in a good project but didn’t make big profits themselves. After gaining some fame, they no longer want to earn just the small fees from investments, so they start fabricating stories or colluding with trash projects to scam principal funds. 3. They were scammers from the very beginning. Their initial investment cases were fake—they never had the ability to secure allocations. Instead, they bought a small amount of tokens from the secondary market at a premium for those hard-to-get projects that skyrocketed after launch. Then, they created the illusion on-chain that they had secured allocations and distributed tokens to everyone, hyping it up massively. This is called 'baiting the trap.' Finally, they fabricate a big project to scam money." #CryptoScams #SpaceIncident #RugPull
