Honestly, I don’t really understand it.
No matter what reasons or explanations people add, the fact is that the price has fallen to $60,000. That simply means we are in what is commonly called a bear market. This is not something we can deny.
In this situation, what is the point of adding more interpretations? Isn’t it just an excuse?
What investor would have wanted a 50% drop in price? No one did.
If you are an investor, you would rather buy after a 50% drop than read comforting posts above $100,000 just to feel better.
It was the same in the $80–90k range, and it is the same now. Even if the price falls further, the same explanation will likely be repeated. Then why do people seek information in the first place? If someone was truly a long-term investor from the start, that is understandable. But otherwise, isn’t this just rationalization?
Many people still do not realize this.
The reason is simple: instead of facing internal responsibility and criticism, they shift the blame outward and redirect the focus elsewhere.(mignolet)
