I saw a lot of friends in the comments saying that after restarting the account, Stripe can be linked to Japan or the US. Linking isn’t something you can just do however you want—it requires KYC. For example, if you want to link to Japan, but you don’t live in Japan, don’t have proof of address, or don’t have a bank card, it’s impossible to link. If you want to link Stripe to Japan or the US, you need to have a legal residency status over there.
