NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte @SecGenNATO and I discussed the funding of the PURL initiative and its further development. Ukraine deeply values every country’s contribution. We are counting on continued funding for this initiative, which enables us to purchase missiles for air defense systems. We also addressed cooperation with partners to strengthen Ukraine’s capabilities to protect lives and the opening of joint defense ventures in Europe. I thank Mark for the meeting and for his consistent support. I am also grateful for the highly productive meeting in the Ramstein format – partners confirmed the allocation of €38 billion in military aid for Ukraine.
