[Institution: Fed expected to cut rates in June, new chair's appointment may present a rate-cut window] Jin10 Data, February 13 – Peter Cardillo, Chief Market Economist at Spartan Capital Securities, stated that ultimately, this is a decent figure. It indicates that we are still some distance away from the Fed's 2% target, but inflation has not accelerated. Perhaps we are beginning to see a glimmer of hope in terms of the inflationary impact brought by tariffs. This impact still exists but is weakening. A rate cut is expected around June, but this largely depends on the labor market. However, if inflation data continues to move in the right direction like this, then I believe we may see a rate cut once the new Fed chair takes office.
