The new system offers two access endpoints: traditional API key access and the new x402 payment method. Through x402 integration, agents can query Base data on demand, make instant payments, and receive data in a single streamlined process. The SQL API provides access to five indexed tables, including block metadata, transaction data, token transfers, decoded events, and raw logs, with query latency under 500 milliseconds and data freshness within 250 milliseconds of the blockchain tip.
