Grateful to @ETHGasOfficial for the continued support of @mrblocksummit. ETHGas is an infrastructure project focused on Ethereum, designed to transform blockspace into a tradable commodity, enabling instant settlement and gas fee abstraction. By creating a financial market for blockspace, ETHGas addresses Ethereum’s latency and cost volatility issues, allowing users to experience faster transaction confirmations (from 12 seconds to milliseconds) and providing budgeted execution commitments for applications. This enhances Ethereum’s scalability and could attract institutional users and more retail participants to the ecosystem. The project pursues a path of underlying optimization, involving mechanisms like pre-confirmations and blockspace futures. While technically challenging, such innovations have the potential to reshape Ethereum’s operational model. We look forward to ETHGas driving more real-time applications in the future.
