Your Government is strengthening how it plans and delivers projects across the public sector, with a focus on accountability, better coordination, and stronger institutions in support of Vision 2030 Jamaica.
After the damage caused by Hurricane Melissa, it became even clearer that Jamaica needs a more organised and disciplined system to rebuild and prepare for future disasters.
In response, the Government has created the National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority (NaRRA). This new body will coordinate reconstruction efforts across ministries and agencies, and work with private sector and international partners.
NaRRA’s role is to ensure that international funding is used properly and turned into real projects, rebuilding infrastructure, strengthening resilience, and delivering results faster, more transparently, and with lasting benefits for our country.(Andrew Holness)
