G.L. c29 sec. 63 is a century old law authorizing at least 24 taxpayers from 4 different counties to sue state officials for illegally spending taxpayer money. After 72% of voters made it the law for the @massauditor to audit the legislature, @RonMariano & @Spilka4Congress with spent $23,400 taxpayer dollars to lawyers to help avoid complying with the law. The people said open up the books and audit public funds and our elected officials took our public money to help deny us from seeing those same financial books. You can’t make this 💩 up. The same leaders denying Democracy here in MA attended and gave speeches at the “No Kings” rallies. As I said at today’s press conference, democracy isn’t a costume you put on to attend a rally. It’s a form of government you honor here at home. They hold signs about Democracy on Sunday and hide or shred receipts on Monday.(John E Deaton)
