Today in Belgium, I am taking part in an informal EUCO meeting, where together with EU leaders we are discussing Europe’s competitiveness in the new geoeconomic environment. My message is clear: if we want to remain competitive, we must act swiftly&decisively. High electricity prices, costly borrowing for businesses, and barriers to innovation — we should start by addressing these challenges. They directly affect both the manufacturing&services sectors. Europe must accelerate its decision-making. We need to move from declaratory ambitions to practical actions that genuinely strengthen the economic potential and global competitiveness of the Single Market.(Gitanas Nausėda)
