This standard includes three core components: identity registration, reputation registration, and task verification, enabling AI agents to operate as independent economic participants in TradFi, RWA, and on-chain markets, while being compatible with existing protocols such as MCP, A2A, and x402. Mantle stated that developers can build financial agents with verifiable performance, paid data API interfaces, and cross-market services connecting TradFi and DeFi based on ERC-8004.
