[Kyrgyzstan's Crypto Industry to Contribute $22.8 Million in Taxes by 2025, Handling Over $20.5 Billion in Transactions]
According to Deep Tide TechFlow on February 12, as reported by Cryptopolitan, Kyrgyzstan's cryptocurrency industry has become one of the fastest-growing economic sectors in the country. By 2025, it is expected to handle over $20.5 billion in transactions and contribute $22.8 million in tax revenue to the state. According to Temir Kazybaev, Chairman of the Kyrgyz Association of Virtual Asset Market Participants, this tax revenue surpasses the combined total of the country's largest commodity trading hub Dordoi Bazaar ($7.9 million) and all patent tax revenues ($13.6 million). Currently, Kyrgyzstan has more than 200 registered cryptocurrency exchanges and 11 mining companies in operation. The government is actively improving relevant regulations and has introduced new legal definitions for cryptocurrencies and stablecoins.
