[Storing Email Authentication Keys (DKIM) Directly On-Chain, XION Announces Official Launch of DKIM Module and ZK Module]
Odaily Planet Daily News – XION has announced the official launch of its DKIM module and ZK module. As a consumer-grade L1 blockchain that stores email authentication keys (DKIM) directly on-chain and implements zero-knowledge verification at the protocol layer, XION aims to address existing issues in email verification solutions.
XION pointed out that current email verification solutions (including projects like zkEmail) rely on centralized DNS servers to obtain encryption keys. When email service providers rotate keys, the old verification becomes invalid, and there is no historical record to reference. XION's DKIM module permanently stores these keys in the on-chain state, completely eliminating reliance on centralized DNS infrastructure.
Its ZK module implements zero-knowledge proof verification at the protocol layer, achieving efficiency 10 times higher than smart contract-based solutions. Together, the two modules enable users to prove any information within an email without exposing the email itself.
XION stated that approximately 61% of employees who witness misconduct remain silent because traditional options are often either 'anonymous but ignored' or 'speaking up but risking unemployment.' With the above infrastructure, XION enables various application scenarios, including:
- Anonymous reporting and workplace reviews (proving employment status without revealing personal information)
- Wallet recovery without mnemonic phrases (using email as a backup key)
- Purchase behavior and certificate verification (without excessive sharing of personal information)
- Trusted ticket resale and insurance claims, among others.
Currently, XION has over 800,000 monthly active users, with more than 150 brands, including Uber, Amazon, and BMW, already integrated.
