About to take my wife to Northern Europe to chase the aurora (hope we can see it )
Booked all the flights, accommodations, and activities at the end of last year. But yesterday, I suddenly got hit with a wave of anxiety—worried that I might’ve missed booking something, messed up the timing, or left some confirmation email buried deep in my inbox.
So, I spent less than an hour and created this thing — TripGo.
Just connect your Gmail, and it’ll automatically pull all the confirmation emails from your inbox and organize them into complete travel plans (since many booking and ticketing platforms don’t even have APIs, I realized email is actually the cleanest and most complete data source).
For each itinerary, you can click in, and AI will automatically generate daily schedules, pre-trip checklists, and even compile important notes for your journey. I also added a little assistant—if you run into any issues, you can ask directly. The assistant supports image recognition and search functions, kind of like the Gemini App. And of course, I included a must-have voice translation feature.
Basically, it’s a fully personalized AI travel assistant.
Sure, you could use OpenClaw to organize everything, but building something tailored to your own needs feels way more satisfying. The coolest thing about the AI era is that the moment you have a need, you can quickly turn it into a product.
If anyone else has this need, I’ll see if I can open-source it for everyone after I’m back.
By the way, just a heads-up: every time I travel abroad, I seem to hit a jackpot. Last time in Nagoya, it was Binance Life; in Hong Kong, it was TST; in Europe, it was B. Maybe you guys should prepare yourselves too
