Uniswap wins patent infringement lawsuit against Bancor

Hayden Adams posted on X platform that his lawyer has informed Uniswap that they have won the patent infringement lawsuit against Bancor. Previously, Bprotocol Foundation and LocalCoin Ltd. filed a lawsuit in the Southern District Court of New York, accusing Uniswap Labs and Uniswap Foundation of infringing on their 2017 Constant Product Automatic Market Maker (CPAMM) infrastructure related patents and seeking damages. A spokesperson for Uniswap Labs has stated that the lawsuit is unfounded, arguing that the protocol code has been publicly disclosed for many years.
