According to Foresight News, citing Raw Story, Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of 'Today' show host Savannah Guthrie, was kidnapped from her home in Tucson, Arizona, on February 1. The kidnappers sent ransom letters to TMZ and two local TV stations, demanding a $6 million Bitcoin ransom. TMZ founder Harvey Levin revealed on the show that the Bitcoin account listed in the first ransom letter sent to TMZ and the two Tucson TV stations has shown transaction activity. For various reasons, the exact amount will not be disclosed at this time.
