Why wasn't there a terminal tool that I felt was very user-friendly? I used to really like Alacrity because it was the lightest and simplest, but it didn't support multiple tabs. Later, I encountered the popular Ghostty and tried to update it, but the font rendering didn't meet my expectations. There are also many people who like Warp, and I don't understand why a terminal still needs to log in. Kitty is actually easy to use, but there are always bugs in window management that seem difficult to fix. Until I encountered Wezterm, but unfortunately the last official version was two years ago. However, since it is based on Rust, I happen to be able to deeply customize and modify it, so I started my journey of tinkering. If there were any problems, I would do it myself, deleting a large number of compatible modules, modifying its loading, and built-in some convenient and good features. I expect it to be as fast as the world's fastest Alacritty, but support multiple tabs and split screens, so that when I am writing AICoding, I can use Claude Code while using Codex Review, and then use Git diff to look at the code at the bottom.
