The seller of the (AI. com) domain purchased the domain at the age of 10, with a cost of only $100 and an appreciation of 700000 times
On February 10th, according to Malay Mail, Malaysian tech entrepreneur Arsyan Ismail sold the (AI. com) domain for approximately $70 million in April 2025. The buyer of this transaction is Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of the cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com. Arsyan purchased the domain for $100 (approximately 256 ringgit at the time) when he was 10 years old in 1993, purely because "AI" matched the first letter of his name. This transaction is considered one of the largest publicly disclosed domain name deals in history. Arsyan, 43, is an early adopter of Bitcoin and is still active in blockchain and cryptocurrency development. He is also a collector of rare digital assets, including ultra short email addresses, network domains, and Ethereum Name Service (ENS) identifiers.
