[Seedance 2.0 Officially Announces Suspension of Real-Person Material-Related Features]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on February 10, according to Jinshi Data, technology blogger Tim revealed that ByteDance's AI video generation model Seedance 2.0 had extensively trained on videos related to 'Film Hurricane,' enabling it to automatically generate videos featuring Tim's voice without any prompt information. Seedance 2.0 officially announced that it would temporarily not support inputting real-person materials as the main reference for its features.
Journalists learned that within the Dream Creator community, an operations staff member posted a message stating: 'Seedance 2.0 received far more attention than expected during its beta testing phase. Thank you all for your feedback. To ensure a healthy and sustainable creative environment, we are urgently optimizing based on the feedback. Currently, we do not support inputting real-person images or videos as the main reference.' The message also emphasized that the platform deeply understands that respecting the boundaries of creativity is essential. After product adjustments, it will return in a more refined form to officially meet users.
As of the time of publication, ByteDance has not yet responded officially.
