This situation has been confirmed as true by people around me, so I'm sharing it here to give everyone a heads-up. Don’t easily trust people who proactively reach out to collaborate with you. Regarding the issue of farming airdrops on behalf of others, most of the studios I know have already stopped offering this service. The reason is simple: the current airdrop environment isn’t great, and most projects either don’t dare or don’t see the need to leverage. Essentially, the core idea of farming airdrops for others is to use low-cost labor to create leverage for oneself. From our perspective, it’s just exhausting work that might not even make money, and it could even harm relationships. The uncertainty of airdrops is too high, and it’s hard to clearly define responsibilities. So even if I think a project has high potential returns, I’d rather just earn what I can easily and stress-free. Collaboration is a double-edged sword. If you don’t have a strong enough mindset, high emotional intelligence to communicate with all kinds of clients, and excellent project management skills, it’s better to be cautious. Otherwise, you might end up missing out on even more opportunities in the end.
