On the surface, it looks like a Perp DEX on Aptos @Aptos, but on a deeper level, it’s actually building the trading infrastructure that’s been missing in the Aptos ecosystem for a long time—integrating perp, spot, vault, multi-asset collateral, unified margin, and clearing all into a fully on-chain trading engine. This design clearly isn’t meant for regular traders; it’s more tailored for quant and institutional funds. That’s also why Decibel chose Aptos—not because of “ecosystem narratives,” but because the parallel execution of Move VM is indeed better suited for handling high-volume trades. If Aptos really wants to develop DeFi and trading, Decibel might be a solid option. The key point is that it’s still in the testnet phase right now.
