Initially, the view was that the probability of Boss Yi getting liquidated was very low—he would add margin and could still cut losses. So the plan was to wait for him to lose his composure, cut losses, and trigger market panic with a wick, then scoop up some profits~ Later, things did indeed follow the script. He added margin and kept cutting losses to reduce his position ➮ panic wick… Unfortunately, I mainly hold spot positions and don’t short, so I missed out on this big profit. Additionally, I had originally planned to buy Bitcoin at 60,000, but Boss Yi lowered his liquidation price. However, due to the rapid drop (which exceeded expectations), there were very clear signs of an "intent" to liquidate Boss Yi. If he were liquidated, the entire market would be dragged down. So, I thought I might as well wait for the liquidation and go for a big scoop, because this kind of continuous drop + liquidation has a high probability of a V-shaped rebound, with lots of meat on the table! But in the end, just as it was about to cut Boss Yi’s throat, I backed off—the knife stopped right at his neck, and the "men in black" left with a smile. Unfortunately, during the rapid rebound after the wick, I wasn’t watching the market (without the expectation of a major liquidation, I tend to place orders on the left side; this habit of chasing the right side of the wick is safer in a bear market). As a result, I missed the lowest point for a short-term bottom buy. By the time it rebounded, it had already jumped over ten points, landing in a consolidation zone. The plan remains to trade this consolidation range for a while, then wait for many people to relax or for a certain probability of a bull return (when people stop believing in the bear market). At that point, I’ll step away again and wait for the big bottom or the next opportunity to scoop up profits.
