Looks like Opus 4.5's 'dumbing down' was just paving the way for 4.6. First off, let me say, Opus 4.6 is awesome. I've decided to officially grant it the title of 'AI Old Chinese Doctor.' I had a tricky issue in one of my projects: when the program starts, it prints a ton of diagnostic info. The program runs fine, but every time it spits out this long list, it's just super annoying to look at. Since Sonnet 3.7, I've tried all kinds of tools and models, including GPT 5.1-2-3, Gemini, and others like CC, Antigravity, Opencode, etc., but none of them could solve it. Today, I gave Opus 4.6 a shot, and turns out I found the right 'old Chinese doctor,' hahaha.
