After two cycles, @Optimism's one-click chain deployment infra, OP Stack, has become the absolute leader in the RaaS track. Even a powerhouse like Optimism mistakenly prioritized shared sequencers (Shard Sequencing) as the primary goal of the OP Superchain roadmap. The demand for shared sequencers has been completely debunked. In the OP Superchain ecosystem, led by @base, over 50+ OP Stack Ethereum L2 chains are all using the official centralized sequencer, with none adopting the more decentralized shared sequencer. Projects in the shared sequencer track, once red-hot, are now down and out. Timing and fate, that's just how it is.
