This is why there is a HUGE difference between regulated prediction markets, and offshore ones (and gambling) Offshore sites and gambling sites make money by front running and having an edge. CFTC regulated entities legally cannot and must investigate it. You won’t stop adults from financializing different products, and choosing to use them. But you can stop sketchy offshore manipulation and have well regulated guard rails. And most of the money spent trying to convince you that regulated entities like Kalshi are the same as offshore or betting apps, actually comes from the casino lobby because they DON’T want those guard rails.(Adam Cochran (adamscochran.eth))
