This means approximately $3.4 million was frozen daily. Meanwhile, Tether destroyed $698 million of the frozen funds, equivalent to 55.6% of the permanently removed frozen value from circulation. Among the 4,163 independent addresses blacklisted by Tether in 2025, only 150 (3.6%) were removed from the blacklist during the year. The remaining 231 addresses had already been blacklisted prior to 2025.
