I have a feeling that 2026 will be the year AI fully evolves, truly approaching the prototype of AGI. January just ended, and we've already seen two phenomenal products: Chrome Gemini and OpenClaw. In fact, OpenClaw is already very close to the general public's imagination of AGI: an agent that can handle any task for you through conversation. The productivity leap brought by AI will widen the gap between people more and more. Right now, the smartest and most adaptable people around me are almost all playing with OpenClaw. A few days ago, I was chatting with a VC who’s also playing with OpenClaw. We joked that it feels like handcrafting a nuclear bomb at home. Things we couldn’t do before, things we didn’t dare to imagine—now we can handcraft them with AI.
