Privacy season isn't going away anytime soon and @EIP7503 could fundamentally change how that's done on Ethereum
TLDR - EIP-7503 is called "Zero-Knowledge Wormholes"
1/ Send ETH to a "dead" address with no private key, effectively burning it.
2/ Use zero-knowledge proofs to show you burned ETH without revealing details.
This proof lets you mint new ETH at a fresh address, maintaining anonymity. No one can link the old and new transactions.
This "Burn-to-Privacy" model (Burn ETH → Mint bETH → Mine WORM) is a completely new model over traditional mixers and shielded pools + no regulatory baggage
After a year of development and three public testnet phases (LINDWURM, SHAI-HULUD, BURROW), is moving toward mainnet.
ICO access via WORM NFTs:
• Each NFT grants a fixed $234 allocation (stackable up to a $20k hard cap/ wallet.)
• Whitelist priority is determined by NFT XP and levels.
• Post-mainnet, these NFTs can be burned to receive WORM tokens directly.
• Starting at a low valuation to prioritize community ownership over VC-heavy distribution.
• Will launch via Cypher Industries
The last step before the ICO is the final Molt testnet which begins today
