[Hyperliquid Announces HyperCore Will Support 'Outcome Trading' (HIP-4)] Hyperliquid announced on the X platform that HyperCore will support 'Outcome Trading' (HIP-4). Outcomes are fully collateralized contracts that settle within a fixed range. They serve as a versatile foundational component applicable to scenarios such as prediction markets and limited tools similar to options. Outcome trading introduces nonlinear features, periodic contracts, and a new form of derivative trading that requires no leverage or liquidation. This foundational component enhances HyperCore's expressive capabilities and can operate in synergy with other components, such as portfolio margining and HyperEVM. Outcome contracts are still under development and are currently being tested on the testnet. Standardized markets based on objective settlement sources will be deployed once technical development is complete. These standardized markets will be denominated in USDH. Based on user feedback, this infrastructure will gradually transition to a permissionless deployment model.
