CoinShares: Net outflow of $1.7 billion from digital asset investment products last week
According to the latest weekly report data from CoinShares, digital asset products recorded a capital outflow of $1.7 billion last week, resulting in a net outflow of $1 billion since the beginning of the year. The asset management scale has decreased by $73 billion since its peak in October 2025. The outflow of funds is highly concentrated in the US market, reaching $1.65 billion. Various asset classes generally showed fund outflows: Bitcoin products flowed out of $1.32 billion, Ethereum products flowed out of $308 million, and recently popular assets XRP and Solana products also flowed out of $43.7 million and $31.7 million, respectively. Short selling Bitcoin products led to a counter trend inflow of $14.5 million, with its managed asset size increasing by 8.1% year to date. Speculative investment products have become a highlight, benefiting from the recent surge in on chain tokenized precious metal sales, with this category recording an inflow of $15.5 million.
