[U.S. Senator Calls for Congressional Hearing on UAE National Security Advisor's Acquisition of WLFI Stake] According to a report by Jinse Finance, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren has called on Congress to hold a hearing regarding UAE National Security Advisor Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan's $500 million acquisition of WLFI equity. The report states that the transaction documents were signed by Eric Trump, with approximately $187 million directly flowing into entities related to the Trump family, and at least $31 million going to entities associated with Trump ally Steve Witkoff. Elizabeth Warren stated that this move is 'purely an act of corruption' and urged the Trump administration to revoke its decision to sell sensitive artificial intelligence chips to the UAE. She also demanded that Steve Witkoff, David Sacks, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and other Trump administration officials testify before Congress on related issues, accusing them of endangering U.S. national security to benefit cryptocurrency companies linked to the former president.
