I read this text very carefully.
Actually, the foundation of the industry is extremely important.
Users are very forgetful, so forgetful that they’ve already forgotten the inscription craze and how the OKX wallet supported industry innovation—and that wasn’t even that long ago.
We shouldn’t be discussing which side to take, nor is this about taking sides.
Even as a KOL, the most basic quality is to remain neutral. You can mess around casually on normal days, but when issues arise, you can’t just sugarcoat things. Especially not with endless flattery, ignoring right and wrong—that’s not what web3 should be about.
I also read Xu Mingxing’s tweets. He even indirectly helped Binance clarify users’ doubts about Binance intentionally doing harm.
Instead, it’s about financial management issues, which caused a chain reaction.
But
these are all things that can be discussed.
The 1011 incident deserves an explanation. A lot of people suffered asset losses due to factors beyond their control—shouldn’t they be paid attention to?
Shouldn’t such incidents be clarified? How can we prevent them? How can we make the industry more trustworthy?
Instead of
just doing PR, or even responding in a way that seems uneducated and unreasonable.
It’s not a good look.
There should be more focus on the issue of user losses.
Maybe I didn’t express myself perfectly, but that’s how I feel.
