This marks the first time OFAC has sanctioned digital asset exchanges for involvement in Iran's financial sector. Additionally, seven Iranian individuals (six of whom are linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps) and Babak Zanjani, who is allegedly laundering money for the Iranian regime after being released from prison, have also been added to the list.
