[CZ: Binance Listing Tokens Only Provides Purchase Channels, Not Responsible for Token Performance] BlockBeats News, January 31, Binance founder CZ responded to recent market FUD during an AMA, stating: 'I think obtaining "Alpha" qualification itself doesn't hold much significance; the standards for spot listings are much stricter. Of course, from different perspectives, if Binance's Alpha channel doesn't provide this kind of (early project) access pathway, then Binance might lose users, and users would have to turn elsewhere to engage more with the DeFi ecosystem. Therefore, Binance addresses this issue through this method (referring to Alpha). The external complaints are that, because Binance lists so many projects, some high-quality tokens, the so-called "gold-like" tokens, might lack liquidity. But this is actually a misunderstanding. Just because a token is launched on the blockchain or within the DeFi network doesn't mean you have to buy it. Similarly, just because Binance provides a purchase channel doesn't mean everyone has to buy it. Good projects will naturally attract more buyers, while poor projects will naturally attract fewer. So, many people tend to think that as long as Binance supports or provides access to a certain token, Binance must be responsible for that token's performance. I think this understanding is somewhat misconstrued.'
