Trump finally nominated Walsh. There might be some short-term bearish impact coming up because Walsh is known for being a hawk. But in the long run, his stance has softened quite a bit compared to before. He used to be more conservative, but recently he publicly stated that Bitcoin is like gold—a store of value asset—and even suggested putting some Bitcoin in investment portfolios. Next, we’ll have to see if he’s willing to cooperate with Trump. If he goes along with the White House to cut rates and inject liquidity, that would be a huge bullish signal for Bitcoin.
