Vitalik mentioned that Chinese developers have significant advantages in product design and user experience, especially in delivering high-quality front-end experiences for large-scale users. With infrastructure maturing over the past few years, developers no longer need to build L1s, public chains, or underlying systems from scratch—they can directly leverage existing technological achievements. He believes that in the current environment, continuing to invest in complex underlying construction is not the optimal choice. A more practical path is to focus on client-side and application-layer innovation based on existing decentralized social protocols, using blockchain as backend infrastructure to enhance product usability and real-world adoption.
