Ambassador Marks, Minister responsible for Efficiency, Innovation and Digital Transformation, officially launched the Government of Jamaica’s Flexible Work Arrangements initiative. Ambassador Marks noted that while flexible work legislation has existed since 2014, it has not been fully implemented. The launch marked the government’s commitment to moving from policy to action. Starting February 2, 2026, flexible work arrangements will be introduced in phases, beginning with staggered working hours. Participation will not be mandatory, and traditional work hours will remain available.(Andrew Holness)
